ACCOMPANIED DEER STALKING IN SOUTH-EAST ENGLANDHere is an opportunity to enjoy stalking Fallow deer in the High Weald of the Kent and Sussex county borders. DeerStalker offers the chance for novice, intermediate or experienced stalkers to benefit from morning and afternoon/evening sessions, or full-day programmes, on one of the more picturesque estates in south-east England. Our Premier Estate is predominantly managed woodland, both deciduous and conifer; but this ideal deer territory also encompasses large fields of cereal crops mixed with substantial areas of set-aside. All-in-all, an ideal environment for deer! A regular morning stalking session would start just before daylight, with about one hour sitting in a high seat. After that, approximately a further three hours are spent stalking. The afternoon/evening sessions operate in reverse: around three hours 'walking stalking', ending up with the last hour of daylight sitting up. For the 2008/09 season, we are pleased to offer an alternative stalking venue: the Forest Estate. This is rather smaller than the Premier Estate, but still holds excellent numbers of deer. The main difference on this estate is that most of the shooting will be from one of the strategically placed high seats. Stalking Seasons:
In keeping with the best principles of ethical deer management, the DeerStalker stalking programmes offer you the chance to shoot cull animals. If, however, you are particularly interested in taking a trophy head, please let us know. DeerStalker is pleased to be able to arrange outstanding trophies in the following species: Red, Fallow, Manchurian Sika, Pere David and Barasingha. Whilst
we cater for those at any level of stalking experience, DeerStalker
particularly specialises in introducing novice stalkers to this
fascinating sport. For anyone intending to take the DSC1 course and exams,
one of our full day programmes will be an invaluable help. The following
